Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has ordered the reopening of places of worship from August 7.
Sanwo-Olu made the disclosure in a press conference Saturday afternoon.
Sanwo-Olu stated that all religious houses can be opened with 50% capacity on Fridays and Sundays only.
The governor also increased public gatherings capacity from 20 to 50 people.
The state had ordered the closure of places of worship as part of measures to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19.
