Leader of the Boko Haram terrorist group, Abubakar Shekau has claimed responsibility for the killings of Farmers in Borno State.
The Boko Haram leader said that 78 farmers were killed and not the reported 43.
Recall that reports stated that 43 farmers were killed by Boko Haram on a rice farm in Zabarmari in Borno State last Saturday.
Shekau released a video on Tuesday where he claimed that the farmers had collaborated with the Nigerian Army in arresting some of its members.
Boko Haram commander threatened that the sect members will go after those giving out intelligence on their activities to the military.
“You think you can arrest our brother and hand him to soldiers and live in peace.
“You think Allah will forget what you have done to our brother,” the Boko Haram commander said.
