The Federal Government has disclosed that there are possibilities to further shift the January 18 that was earlier fixed for reopening of schools.

Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu during the national press briefing on COVID-19 on Monday said January 18 is subject to review due to the spike in COVID-19 cases.

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases surpassed 100,000 which raised more concerns about the second wave of COVID-19 and how to contain the spread.

There are fears that the figure may further rise if the laid down COVID-19 protocols are not adhered to, especially when schools resume nationwide.
