No fewer than 8000 Nigerians have received the COVID-19 vaccines in the country, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NPHCDA, has announced.

NPHCDA Executive Director, Dr. Faisal Shuaib disclosed this during the COVID-19 national press briefing in Abuja.

The ED added that all states have received their share of the vaccines except Kogi State.

Faisal Shuaib said Kogi state is yet to be supplied because it has not re-established its cold chain store which was allegedly vandalised during last year’s protests against SARS.
