Following the recent reports of a road accident that took the lives of five young men along Gombe road on April 9, 2021, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha, has sent his condolences to the Adamawa State Government and families of victims.
Boss Mustapha, who hails from Adamawa in a statement said: “The tragedy has not only befallen immediate families but also the Hoba and Waja Communities, the LCCN Church, the Government and people of Adamawa State as well as the nation at large.
According to the statement, the lives claimed were; Mwaniya Japhet Gajere, Isaac Dauda Shingu, Hyelakidati Samson Hananiya, Samson Eric Gandapa, and Jackson Lumanyi.
While noting that young men and women constitute a larger percentage of Nigeria’s population, he stated that their continued loss to various types of accidents potentially robs the nation of great human resources that can help develop the country and dominate the world.
Mustapha expressed his deepest condolences to the Arch-Bishop of the LCCN Church, the Hoba and Waja Communities, and the government and people of Adamawa State.
He prayed that God almighty comforts and grant their immediate families the fortitude to bear the loss and also grant the souls of the departed eternal rest.
