Residents in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Tuesday evening have reported a loud explosion that rocked the ancient city, with buildings collapsing due to terrific vibration.
Sources say houses exploded under the impact of the vibration felt at Awolowo, Bodija, Akobo, and other areas.
The number of casualties could not be confirmed as of press time.
