The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced Tuesday, April 9, and Wednesday, April 10, 2024 as public holidays to mark the Eid il-Fitr celebration.

Permanent Secretary, Dr. Aishetu Gogo Ndayako disclosed in a statement signed on behalf of the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

The Minister congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

He called on Muslims to imbibe and practice the virtues of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighborliness and compassion as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
