A journalist with Abubakar Rimi Television (ARTV), Naziru Ya’u, has been hit by a stray bullet inside the Kano State Government House.
Ya’u, a correspondent attached to the Kano Government House, was said to have been rushed to the clinic where he was treated and discharged by medical experts in the facility.
As gathered on Saturday, the reporter was said to have been hit by the bullet inside the government house at about 6.30 pm yesterday.
The incident occurred amidst the observance of World Press Freedom Day set aside by the United Nations, on May 3rd annually.
