The Coordinating Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Manchester, David Adeoye has expressed his congratulations and appreciation to the entire United Kingdom APC team.
David Adeoye in a statement released on Sunday evening praised the recently conducted APC UK Chapter Congress that ushered in new leadership.
The statement reads: “We Congratulate the whole of the All Progressives Congress (APC) United Kingdom Chapter on a successful congress and the appointment of Tunde Doherty as the Chairman. Most importantly, we are happy with the make up of the present cabinet as this has two of our own; the Financial Secretary (Hon Duro) and the Assistant Treasurer (Hon Bimbo Fashanu). Please lets give a hearty shout out to our own Mancunians! Well done and congratulations!!
“Over the past couple of months, we have seen new members join our ranks. We have been honoured by the Elders who have supported Manchester in integrating the different layers of our diverse unshakeable belief in the Vision of Manchester into a fully functional caucus that not only echoes a proud Manchester but its label as the northern Powerhouse !
“To all those who have been in the struggle over the past 14 years and those who just joined, I can tell you that Manchester will only get better. We will grow from strength to strength and use this platform to strengthen the communal ties within the north and make this opportunity to see that the APC in Diaspora is fully supported and respected.
“Just as the Chairman of APC UK mentioned, the healing starts now. We want each of our members to reach out and give feedback. We want ideas to strengthen and improve Manchester APC. We understand we have a Binary group and this is the same all over the world.
“Most importantly, we need to see the bigger picture and remember that Manchester’s progress is paramount. Therefore to make sure we are all represented and given the chance to serve, we will set up a committee to decide which posts we need to run APC Manchester then organise the Congress to vote in a democratically elected set of Officers to serve.
“We appeal to all members to be more committed for a greater “Northern Powerhouse”.
“In all, we hope the new foundation that we have built together will not only bring us closer but also improve socio-cultural bonds and renewed hope within our great party in Manchester.
