A Nigerian pharmacist, Bello Musa has called out a cryptocurrency gaming platform, Hamster Kombat for paying him a ridiculous amount after he allegedly resigned from his job to focus on mining.
Prior to the disbursement of tokens on September 21st, Hamster Kombat had taken over two months of players’ dedication and time to their crypto game.
The pharmacist known as @pharm_musa on X (formerly Twitter) publicly vented his frustrations, calling “Hamster Kombat scam,” leading to a heated discussion across social media platforms.
In a post that has since gone viral, the pharmacist shared his emotional distress after resigning from his long-standing job, only to be left disappointed by the cryptocurrency investment he made.
The post reads:
“Dear #Hamster, I resigned from my job where I built a professional & unblemished career over the years in anticipation of huge token from you, only for me to be rewarded peanuts. From where will I start now? The threat from my HOD? Or the mockery I’m facing? Hamster Kombat is indeed nothing but scam! #HMSTRSCAM.
“I’m devastated, emotionally traumatised and with an uncertain future, all due to Hamster’s decision to be selfish.
As for the people mocking me, Man is not God! Insha Allah I’ll get another job. The person that introduced me to #Hamster said that was how Bitcoin started, that all people that sacrificed for bitcoin are now billionaires, I joined not knowing #HamsterKombat is a scam #HMSTR #HMSTRSCAM.”
The post has garnered widespread attention, triggering a wave of reactions from supporters, critics, and those in the cryptocurrency community.
