President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday swore in Ahmed Kadi Amshi and 11 others as Chairman and members of the National Assembly Service Commission.

The ceremony, which was witnessed by Senate President Ahmad Lawan and House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, was held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The commission’s new Chairman, representing Yobe State in the Northeast, is the immediate past Chief of Staff to Lawan.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha; the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Abba Kyari; the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.); and the Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs Folasade Yemi-Esan, also attended the session.
